Run the North Shore is owned and operated by Keith Nicoll. A long term fixture of the local running scene, Keith has taken over this project with the purpose of promoting, encouraging, and developing the widest participation in all forms of running in North and West Vancouver - the best place to live and play in the world!

Keith is the operating owner of North Shore Athletics and an active member in the North Shore community. Even though Keith has only been running for the past 10 years his knowledge and passion far surpass these years and in 2002 he was awarded the Business Excellence Award for Young Entrepreneurs. This was recognition for the fantastic vision Keith had in opening NSA in 2000 and building the wonderful sense of community that now surrounds the store.

For his first 20 years he was a skier and rugby player, Keith now embraces all things athletic. Whether it be cycling, running, kayaking , Keith is doing it, maybe not fast, but definitely out there.  Keith has competed in numerous triathlons, 3 Ironmans, run races of all distances, and competed in multi-sport events, with his favourite being Sea2Summit Whistler, which he has participated with his closest friends. Keith has led numerous run clinics through North Shore Athletics and has seen many of his athletes progress from “couch potatoes” to competitive athletes, with some even racing Iron Man!

Keith’s passions include, hanging with his daughter, Kallym, training with his wife, Laura, cycling with his Ipod, and helping people reach their goals.  His favourite food is Krua Thai, his favourite beer is Red Truck from Taylor’s Crossing, and his favourite show is Family Guy…
