-
The race start is on the west side of the Gazebo in the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve
-
Head due north on the gravel path. The Learning Lodge will be on your left.
-
Veer slightly to the left and onto the Lynn Headwaters Connector Trail, a broad, hard packed, and undulating path that follows the east side of Lynn Creek to the bridge accessing Lynn Headwaters Regional Park.
-
Follow the path to the right as it heads north. The trail is now called the Lynn Loop Trail.
-
When you reach the first intersection, 1.8km up the trail, stay left and follow the trail as it heads up-river. This section of Trail is called the Cedar Mills Trail.
-
As you head north, the trail narrows and becomes increasingly technical in nature.
-
After 2.6km of the Cedar Mills Trail you will reach a Debris Chute.
-
Follow the flags to the right (away from the river) and to where the Cedar Mills Trail bisects the Headwaters Trail.
-
Turn right and head onto the Headwaters Trail.
-
For the next 3.7km, the trail continuously undulates and is very technical in nature (rocks, roots, debris, boardwalks, etc.), i.e. this section is awesome fun!
-
Near the end of this 3.7km section you will have a fairly long downhill section, taking you back to the Lynn Headwaters Connector Trail.
-
Turn left and head south-east along the connector trail towards the finish, which is about 1km away.
